About

I’m coming off a decade of entrepreneurship, where I founded, bootstrapped, and sold my very successful passion project, Crankmeister Bicycle Works, one of India’s  first high-end bicycle stores. There, I wrote the playbook for businesses that followed in the industry. 

For the last dozen years, I have been a leadership educator, and executive coach, in parallel. Facilitation plays to my strengths as an educator. I work with people to identify areas where they are blocked, which leads them to solutions they can own, rather than adopting an instructional approach. Play is essential to learning, and helps cement the simple and enduring human truths at the core of the workshop design. My areas of expertise are developing executive presence, honing the tools to start and grow businesses, building leadership skills, and powerful communication. 

I’ve been an executive coach for leaders at organisations like nVidia, KPMG, General Motors, Akamai Technologies, Cisco Systems, Samsung, the Taj Group of Hotels, IBM and more. My approach to coaching is consistent with my approach to facilitation; I look at coaching through the lens of eventual application. By way of exploratory, non-threatening conversations, I facilitate conversations so the participants leave armed with more tools in their arsenal than they walked in with.

I had a decade and a half of business building, project management,  sales and channel management experience across FMCGs (Tata Global Beverages Ltd.), media  (CNBC – TV-18), and retail (Future Group).

I like working across domains and levels.

Facilitating teams that are bogged down with interpersonal issues, identifying and breaking down of barriers across teams, coaching  managers who have the technical know-how but need some assistance with getting their teams to pull together, coaching senior management on areas as diverse as getting their teams to take ownership of their work, to outlining achievable yet challenging goals for their organisation – I’ve been in those positions personally, and I have the tools to frame the solutions into a comprehensible, digestible whole.
